Gerard P. Norton serves as Chair of Fox Rothschild's Intellectual Property Department . His practice focuses on both litigation of intellectual property rights and prosecution of patents, trademarks and copyrights in the United States and abroad. He has successfully litigated complex matters pertaining to patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and breach of contract disputes. Dr. Norton also counsels clients regarding the validity and scope of intellectual property rights, the evaluation and development of intellectual property portfolios, and the review of intellectual property matters relevant to corporate acquisitions and divestitures. His clients include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, and medical device companies as well as universities and other not for profit organizations.
