Douglas M. Fox is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Biotechnology/Life Sciences Group, Intellectual Property Group, Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Securities Group, Technology and Emerging Companies Group, and Transactional Finance Group. His practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate, business, and transactional matters for clients in a variety of industry groups, including high technology and emerging growth businesses, real estate investment trusts, financial institutions, and professionals active in the construction and health care industries.

In 1984, prior to beginning the practice of law, Mr. Fox became a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in Maryland.

Mr. Fox is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.S.C.E. 1979) and the University of Baltimore (J.D. 1985).

Mr. Fox was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1986.
