  3. The Elevator Pitch and why it is important.
  4. Developing a well thought out business model.
  5. Determining the amount of money to raise.

 

Part Three - The Fund Raising Process

You have survived and perhaps even thrived over the challenge of writing your business plan and developing your financial model. Now what? Now it is time to engage with potential investors and to begin the dance of fundraising. Fundraising is an exciting process that ushers in a time of meeting many great people but also the challenge of running a business while spending time fundraising. We will discuss several of the core aspects of fundraising to consider.

  1. The best way to find angel investors and venture capital investors.
  2. Your company valuation and how much of your company you should "give up".
  3. The definition of follow-up and persistence.
  4. How to evaluate potential investors.
  5. Common mistakes an entrepreneur makes when trying to raise money for their company?
