Benefits

Early Stage East is THE showcase for the "Best of the Best" Early Stage companies seeking their initial round of venture capital.

  • Selected companies will be given the opportunity to present their business venture to an audience of venture capitalists, investors and investment firms in an eight-minute presentation.

  • Company presentations will be evaluated in a variety of areas by a select panel of seven judges consisting of some of the leading venture capitalists on the East Coast.

  • Each presenting company will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with investors and to showcase their venture at an 8' exhibit booth.

  • Summary of critical venture, business plan outline and other pertinent information taken from the application form will be published in the conference program.

  • Each company will be assisted in their presentation development through attending a mandatory practice session led by an experienced and renowned team of consultants and venture capitalists.

Criteria

Ideal presenters and exhibitors are companies who possess the following:

  • Significant market potential
  • Clear competitive advantage
  • Durable barriers to entry
  • Realistic commercialization strategy
  • Experienced and qualified management team
  • Exciting business perspective
