APPLY NOW FOR 2005 EARLY STAGE EAST

VENTURE CAPITAL CONFERENCE

Wilmington , Delaware- Applications are now being accepted for the 2005 Early Stage East Venture Capital Conference. Accepted companies will have the opportunity to present their business plan to an audience of the most distinguished venture capitalists, private investors and investment firms on the East Coast.

Ideal applicants for the Conference are startup and early-stage companies as well as inventors with a proprietary product, specialized service or demonstrable prototype product or service having significant market and venture opportunities.

Companies that have received up to $5 million in institutional venture capital are invited to apply. Up to 25 companies will be selected to present their high-growth entrepreneurial investment opportunities in search of their early rounds of institutional venture capital.

Early Stage East is the trendsetter in showcasing the most promising young companies in the tech industry. In keeping with their reputation, Early Stage East has broadened its list of featured industries this year. Traditionally, Early Stage East's Venture Capital Conference focuses on information technology, enterprise software and internet technology. This year, companies specializing in chemicals and advanced materials, manufacturing technology, nanotechnology, medical instruments and devices, industrial biotechnology and electronic materials will also be featured.

The 2005 Conference will be held in Philadelphia on May 11 and 12 at the Hyatt at Penn's Landing. The Conference has been moved to Philadelphia for 2005 in recognition of our expanded list of featured industries. These industries are dominant in the central region of Early Stage East's geographic footprint, which extends from the Carolinas to New England .

Companies that would like to participate in Early Stage East 2005 are invited to apply at www.earlystageeast.org. The deadline to apply is March 17.
