2012 Cub Pitch Philly Conference Wrap-Up

The 2012 Philadelphia Conference began with an educational panel hosted by both Blank Rome LLP and Fesnak and Associates. The panel discussed the future of crowd funding as it relates to early stage companies. From this point we jumped right into 15 companies giving their two minute quick pitches which was sponsored by Duane Morris.

During the lunch break the Sal Buccieri Memorial Venture Impact Award was given to the University City Science Center which was accepted by Dr. Stephen S. Tang.  Our lunchtime Keynote and Legendary Alumni Award winner was Michael Chasen, CEO & Co-founder of Blackboard Inc..

The afternoon began with the company presentations sponsored by Pepper Hamilton. The program concluded with a panel discussion on trying to determine if venture investing moving away from social media.

The entire event concluded with a wonderful and well attended closing cocktail reception which was sponsored by our conference hosts ICG and Wilmington Trust.
