EARLY STAGE EAST ANNOUNCES THIRD ANNUAL BIO-LIFE-TECH CONFERENCE
Wilmington, Delaware – Early Stage East has announced that their Bio-Life-Tech Conference will return to Baltimore, Maryland on October 12th and 13th. Early Stage East has been producing Venture Capital Conferences for early stage companies for seven years.
“Early Stage East’s past Bio-Life-Tech events in Baltimore have been so well-received and successful that we are excited about returning to Baltimore for our 2004 event,” said David Freschman, founder of Early Stage East, and President of the Delaware Innovation Fund. “We know we will be able to build on our successes with past Bio-Life-Tech Conferences in Baltimore to have the best Conference yet this year.”
This year's Bio-Life-Tech Conference will showcase up to thirty breakaway companies presenting and exhibiting their high-growth entrepreneurial investment opportunities to investors who specialize in the early-stage financing of companies from the biotechnology, nanotechnology, life science, and pharmaceutical industries and the related fields.
The Bio-Life-Tech Conference is a two-day event designed specifically for companies from the biotechnology, nanotechnology, life science, and pharmaceutical industries and the related fields that are seeking their first through second rounds of institutional venture capital funding. Participating companies will have eight minutes each to present their investment opportunities to the audience of venture capitalist and investors in attendance. The companies will also have the opportunity to exhibit their unique, break-away businesses in the exhibit hall throughout the event. Additionally, each participating company will take part in the interactive entrepreneurial Educational Workshop: Building a Great Business, which will provide the entrepreneurs with valuable information about running and growing their businesses.
The Bio-Life-Tech Conference builds upon the success of Early Stage East's all-industry venture conferences, which draw over 600 attendees annually. Early Stage East events attract companies and investors from the Carolinas through New England. The Bio-Life-Tech Conference is bringing the features of Early Stage East's other venture capital conferences to this new event.
