EARLY STAGE EAST ANNOUNCES THE COMPANIES FEATURED AT EARLY STAGE EAST 2004

Wilmington, Delaware � Early Stage East has announced the 28 companies that will be featured at Early Stage East 2004.

The companies are:

Bridge Semiconductor Corporation is a semiconductor company in Pittsburgh, PA founded in 1997.

Burren Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a therapeutics company in Kulpsville, PA founded in 2003.

Digital Amplifier Company is a semiconductor company in Furlong, PA founded in 1996.

ECHIP, Inc. is a software and training company in Hockessin, DE founded in 1983.

ElderLife Financial LLC is a financial services company in Washington, D.C. founded in 2000.

Each of these companies will make a seven-minute presentation on Tuesday, May 11th to an audience of investors which typically represent over $10 billion of institutional funding at the Bank One Center on the Riverfront. The companies will also exhibit their investment opportunities in the exhibit hall at the event.

On Monday, May 10th, the entrepreneurs presenting at the Conference will participate in Early Stage East�s entrepreneurial education session, �Building a Great Business.� That evening, all attendees will gather at the Hotel duPont�s Gold Ballroom for the Opening VIP Reception and later, at the Post Reception Gathering at Deep Blue Bar and Grill.
