Andrea joined Novak Biddle in 1999 and is focused on investments in a broad range of information technology, including security technologies and enterprise software for Novak Biddle. Andrea brings substantial transactional experience to Novak Biddle in venture capital financing, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
At Novak Biddle, Andrea serves as a director for Object Video, Trusted Edge and System Detection. She is an observer for Matrics and Trusted Computer Solutions. Washington Business Forward Magazine named Andrea to The Next Network, a list of 40 Rising Stars. Andrea is the Chair of Early Stage East for 2004 and served as the Chair of the Selection Committee in 2003.
Prior to Novak Biddle, Andrea practiced law in the corporate finance group of Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti, where she represented high technology companies, underwriters and institutional investors.
Andrea received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the Johns Hopkins University. She also has a Juris Doctor from Fordham University and a Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University. She is admitted to the bar in New York and Washington, D.C. Email: [email protected]
