Early Stage East's Bio-Life-Tech Conference Applicant Information

Early Stage East's Bio-Life-Tech Conference offers a forum for high growth entrepreneurial investment opportunities for companies from the biotechnology, bionanotechnology, life science, pharmaceutical and related industries in search of their initial rounds of institutional venture capital. Companies that are raising their first and second rounds of institutional venture capital are encouraged to apply.

Presenting Companies

Presenting companies have an opportunity to describe and offer their business venture in a ten-minute live presentation to an audience of private investors, venture capitalists and investment firms that focus on biotechnology, life science, pharmaceutical and related technology industries. The presentations should describe the company's business investment opportunity, growth and exit strategy.

Companies are required to submit an official application form. Accepted presenting companies must submit a ten-minute PowerPoint presentation.

The ESE Selection Committee competitively chooses up to twenty companies to present. These presenting companies must attend a mandatory coaching session. The session will be held on September 12th in Wilmington, Delaware. The mandatory coaching session will allow companies to present a preliminary run of their PowerPoint presentation to the coaches, if desired. Presentation tips and hints from venture experts will be offered. A panel of venture capitalists will be presented during the luncheon. In addition, there will be an entrepreneurial education session specifically for entrepreneurs in the scientific fields presented in the afternoon. A networking reception will follow the session.

Required Fees

Selected Companies $395

Includes two event tickets for the conference, coaching session and all conference and coaching materials. Company is also assigned one exhibit booth location.

Application fees via credit cards are only processed for accepted companies. Application fees paid via check will be returned to applicants not selected to present prior to the date of the event.
