Early Stage East to Name William A. Scari Jr. Honorary Chair of Early Stage East 2007

Early Stage East is proud to announce that William A. Scari Jr., a partner with Pepper Hamilton LLP, will be the Honorary Chair of Early Stage East 2007. “Early Stage East is just as, if not more important to the venture capital community now than it was at its inception. As venture capital funds grow larger and more funds migrate to later stage deals, Early Stage East provides one of the few opportunities for startup and early stage companies to meet relevant investors and advisors” said Mr. Scari.
Mr. Scari is the partner in charge of Pepper Hamilton's Berwyn, PA office and a member of the Firm's Executive Committee, the Firm's governing body. Mr. Scari represents public and privately held businesses in connection with a wide variety of commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities transactions, joint ventures and partnering arrangements. He also represents private equity funds and venture capital funds in transactions and fund formation. Mr. Scari has been a supporter of Early Stage East from its inception.
Pepper Hamilton LLP is a multi-practice law firm with 450 lawyers in seven states and the District of Columbia. The firm provides corporate, litigation and regulatory legal services to leading businesses, governmental entities, nonprofit organizations and individuals throughout the nation and the world.
