Daymond John

Josh has been an active entrepreneur and investor in the Internet industry since its commercialization. While a student at the Wharton School in 1996, Josh co-founded Infonautics Corporation which went public on the NASDAQ. In 1999, Josh founded Half.com which was acquired by eBay in July 2000 for over $300 million. In 2004, Josh founded First Round Capital which has emerged as a leading investor in the Internet and Social Media spaces with over 50 companies funded in 2009. Josh is an inventor with eight US Patents for his work in Internet technology. Josh is a past award winner of Ernst & Young (Philadelphia Region) Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
